Power restored to thousands after storms

Thousands of people have power once again after severe weather moved through north Texas.

In the DFW area, more than 12,000 homes and businesses were still without power as of 10:30 a.m. Saturday. That is an improvement from 60,000 in the early morning hours, according to Oncor.

No injuries were reported but the storm packed winds of 90 miles an hour near the Fort Worth and Benbrook areas.

Flights are also back to normal after being temporarily halted because of the storm at DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field.
