Police searching for suspects in Valentine's Day home invasion in Mesquite

Mesquite police are working to identify three men responsible for an armed home invasion on Valentine's Day.

The home invasion happened just before 8:30 p.m., in the 1500 block of Uvalde St.

One of the victims told police three masked gunmen forced their way into the home, before they tied up the family.

The suspects removed a large safe from the home, but ultimately left it in the front yard after not being able to load it in their vehicle, described as 2015 – 2019 dark colored Chrysler 200 with significant damage to the passenger side.

Police have released pictures of what the vehicle could look like.
