Police investigating fatal shooting in Fort Worth home

FORT WORTH, Texas - A double shooting in Fort Worth left one person dead and another critically injured.

The shooting happened around 6:30 a.m. at a house near E. Berry Street and Interstate 35W in south Fort Worth.

According to early reports, the two people were shot possibly during a home invasion.

Officials confirmed one victim died at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Fort Worth police are investigating.
