Mardi Gras festival held in Oak Cliff

The Bishop Arts District looked a little more like the Big Easy Sunday, with people dressed in Mardi Gras garb.

"So all the purple and green and my jazz socks," said Steven Hopkins. "It's Mardi Gras. It's time to party."

Partygoers had masks and beads, but they also dressed warm and were bundled up as temperatures were in the low 40s and 30s.

"It's really cold, but I'm glad it's not raining," said Sonia Isaguirre.

Some stayed warm just jumping up and down for beads.

Letting the good times roll and embracing the sun when it came out.
