Man found dead following fire in East Dallas
DALLAS - Firefighters found the body of a man inside a burned out home in far East Dallas.
Just after midnight Monday, Dallas Fire Rescue responded to a one-story duplex near North Jim Miller and Forney roads.
Firefighters quickly put out the flames and then found a man in his mid-40s dead in the front room. The medical examiner will determine how he died. His identity has not been released.
The people on the other side of the duplex escaped and were not hurt.
Arson investigators were called to the scene to try to figure out how the fire started.
