Jamie Lynn's Strawberry Lemonade Cake


2 - 8" Baked lemon cakes

1 - 14 OZ Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk (divide in half)

10 - Large washed Strawberries (divide in half)

4 cups - Heavy whipping cream

2 tsp - Vanilla

2 cups - Powdered Sugar


1. Using a power mixer whip heavy whipping cream and vanilla together until soft peaks begin to form. Add the powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form

2. Cut strawberries into thin slices and slice both lemon cakes in half

3. Poke holes in first layer of cake, pour half the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, lay half of the strawberry slices down, and place the second layer of cake on top

4. Spread a thin layer of whipped cream over the first cake and repeat step 3 for the second cake

5. Decorate the outside of the cake with the remaining whipped cream however you desire
