FWPD officer fired for lying on time card

DALLAS - A Fort Worth police officer was fired for falsifying her time card.

The department confirmed Officer Victoria Van Orden was let go for trying to collect $4,500 dollars for overtime she did not work. She also gave conflicting statements when questioned.

Van Orden has worked for the department since 2008.
