DENTON, Texas - There's a project underway in Denton that could revolutionize the way cities deal with trash disposal. It turns out, landfills could be much more than just a place to leave garbage.

In this segment, FOX 4's Dan Godwin talks to Dr. Sahadat Hossain, a professor of civil engineering at U.T. Dallas. He's just been awarded a grant by the city of Denton to look at the emerging field of "landfill mining."
