Firefighters find burned body inside Garland home
GARLAND, Texas - Fire crews found a body inside a Garland home after they extinguished an early morning fire.
The fire broke out around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday inside a home on Meandering Way near Pleasant Valley Road.
A neighbor saw the flames and called 911. They said an elderly man lived in the home alone.
The body was burned beyond recognition. The medical examiner will need to identify the victim and determine if he or she died because of the fire.
