Fire guts Grand Prairie restaurant

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - An early morning fire destroyed a restaurant in Grand Prairie.

The fire at the Hacienda Restaurant Buffet on Main Street and Belt Line Road started around 2 a.m. Thursday.

The building was so unstable firefighters had to fight it from the outside with a ladder truck. No one was hurt but the restaurant was gutted. 

The fire department will look into what caused the fire.
