Early morning fire burns Dallas restaurant

DALLAS - Fire heavily damaged a Dallas restaurant early Thursday morning.

The fire at El Rey Del Grill on Maple Avenue started around 5 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the building.

The firefighters were able to put out the flames but not before the building suffered a significant amount of damage.

There’s no word yet on the cause.

No one was hurt.
