DPS trooper arrested for sexually assaulting young girl
MINERAL WELLS, Texas - A DPS trooper was arrested over the weekend on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child with a deadly weapon.
The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed 33-year-old Terry Alan Lockridge was station in Mineral Wells.
He was arrested in Palo Pinto County on Friday and then transferred to the Park County jail.
DPS said his alleged victim was a young girl.
Lockridge has been with the department since 2009.
