Dallas thief grabs entire scratch-off lottery ticket dispenser

Dallas police are looking for a man who ran into a convenience store and grabbed a dispenser full of scratch-off lottery tickets.

It happened just after 7 p.m. on Feb. 26 at a store on South Hampton Road near Illinois Avenue in Oak Cliff.

The man wearing a black hoodie and dark pants dashed into the store, ripped the dispenser off the counter and then darted out.

Lucky for police, the crime was caught on surveillance video. And they will be ready to talk to any unlucky person who tries to cash in one of the stolen tickets.

Police ask anyone with information to call Det. T McAnally at 214-671-0546.
