Company wants to build 5,000 acre theme park in Fort Worth

One company is taking a second shot at a big promise.

DreamVision said Monday it will open a $3.5 billion, 5,000-acre theme park in Fort Worth. But the developers declined to say where the park would be located or where the money would come from to build the attraction.

The park would be called DreamVision Mountain DreamScape Texas.

Among the features: a snow-capped mountain with snow sports and actual snow, themed areas featuring New York and Hollywood and a wild-west adventure zone.

Organizers claim the park will open in 2020.

DreamVision made a similar announcement almost two years ago about a Fort Worth-based theme park but that project never happened.
