Charges possible for boy who called hoax threat to Denton school
Police and Denton ISD officials have found the student that made a fake threat Thursday that prompted a school lock-down and evacuation.
A 911 caller said a person with a gun had walked into a classroom at Denton Ryan High School on Thursday afternoon.
Police searched the campus but found nothing.
Denton police said a boy who borrowed a cell phone from girl made the hoax call from the girl's phone.
Police said Denton ISD is disciplining the boy, but would not release specifics. Police said it's possible he could be criminally charged.
