Cedar Hill man allegedly sexually assaulted two boys

Cedar Hill police are trying to identify and catch a child predator who sexually assaulted two boys earlier this week.

Police said one seven-year-old boy was attacked Monday and a second on Tuesday at the Little Creek Apartments off of Little Creek Road.

Detectives said both boys were approached by a heavy set African American man with wavy hair and wearing what were described as nice shoes. The suspect was driving a small gray or silver car.

Police said he showed them sexually graphic videos on his phone before luring them to a secluded area of the complex and then assaulting them. Both attacks happened between 5 and 6 p.m.

“What’s odd about that is he felt bold enough to be able to come back and do this. He felt like he was able to do this again... It’s not just appalling, it's very alarming for us,” Lt. Colin Chenault with the Cedar Hill Police Department said. “We do feel like he is a continued threat that we do need to get off the streets.”

Investigators say it does not appear the man lives in the complex. No one recognized the description.
