Carrollton Fire Rescue captain dies after suffering medical emergency
CARROLLTON, Texas - A veteran North Texas firefighter died Sunday after being hospitalized while on duty.
The city of Carrollton, north of Dallas, said Captain Lee Holbert suffered a medical emergency last week.
He served the Carrollton Fire Department for more than 30 years.
The fire chief called him an exceptional firefighter.
Captain Holbert was 57 years old.
He leaves behind a wife and three children.
