'Cannibal couple' captured in Russia: Cops

A man arrested in southern Russia reportedly admitted to authorities that he and his wife had been living as cannibals for the past decade.

The 'cannibal couple' allegedly kidnapped at least 30 people before skinning them alive and eating them, according to the Washington Post.

Authorities in Russia began investigating Dmitry Baksheev, 35, and his wife, Natalia Baksheeva, of Krasnoda, after a road repair crew found a cell phone with photos of Dmitry and dismembered body parts in his mouth, according to the Moscow Times.

Parts of their victims were reportedly stored in saline filled jars.

Video of inside their home taken by a Russian news station showed trash sprewn about, clothes scattered and wigs on top of a small freezer and dozens of pictures on a bed.
