Bomb squad investigates Prosper High School

Police are investigating Prosper High School after a suspicious package was located early Thursday morning.

A cleaning crew at the high school said a person threw a package against the building around 1:00 a.m., and ran away.

The area was sealed off by police while the Plano bomb squad investigated.

A Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter crew assisted Prosper police by searching the area, but found no one.

No further information has been released.
