'American Idol' supervisor found murdered in LA mansion
Robin Kaye, a longtime "American Idol" music supervisor, and her husband were found murdered inside their Los Angeles mansion, Fox News Digital confirmed. TMZ also reported that police had responded to the same property on Thursday, after a neighbor said they spotted someone jumping a fence and possibly trying to break in. Officers reportedly found no sign of forced entry at that time.
LOS ANGELES - An investigation is underway after an award-winning music supervisor on "American Idol" and her well-known relator husband were found dead in their San Fernando Valley home, according to authorities. On Tuesday, police said they had a suspect in custody.

An official with the Los Angeles Police Department said officers conducted a welfare check at a home located near the intersection of White Oak Avenue and Ventura Boulevard in the Encino area around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 14.
Responding officers forced entry inside by smashing a window after they noticed blood at the front door, TMZ reports. That's when they discovered a man and a woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. They were declared dead at the scene.
The victims were identified as Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca.
According to the publication, police were called to the home last week after a possibly armed suspect was seen trying to break in.
Their home apparently once belonged to rapper Juice WRLD, who died in 2019.
Robin’s career spanned 15 seasons with "American Idol," and she also worked on shows such as "Lip Sync Battle" and "The Singing Bee."
What they're saying:
American Idol released a statement calling Kaye "a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009" who was "truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her."
"Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time," an American Idol spokesperson said in a statement.
Dig deeper:
FOX 11 has covered quite a few break-ins in the area. Neighbors are still shaken over a murder last February.
"A lady was killed by her ex-husband right down the street. We have to be here for each other and all the neighbors have to stay close," neighbor Hanna Masachi said.
"As a neighbor, what's going through your heart just watching this, I have so much pain right now. This is not right, it's unbelievable."
"This area used to be a great area once upon a time, but just recently it's going downhill," one neighbor said.
"We have a lot of robberies and burglaries here," another shared.
"They had not heard from them in four days, and so they got into their backyard from my neighbor's backyard. They climbed the fence to get in and then she heard a crash and saw their back slider door broken," neighbor Amee Faggeni said.
"My renter saw somebody hopping the fence but that was back on Thursday. She called 911 but we didn't hear anything."
What we don't know:
It's unclear when the two may have been shot. Officials also have not identified the suspect.
