2 men shot by gunman outside West Dallas apartments

DALLAS - Police are looking for the person who shot two men at a West Dallas apartment complex late Monday.

The men had just entered the Hamptons at Lake West Apartments property near Hampton Road and Singleton Boulevard through a pedestrian gate.

The suspect started shooting at them and then ran away. The two men were both hit by bullets in their legs, police said.

Police did not release a description of the suspect.

They are also unsure of the motive.
