17-year-old dies from COVID-19 at Fort Worth hospital
FORT WORTH, Texas - A Fort Worth hospital has reported that a 17-year-old died from COVID-19.
Cook Children’s Medical Center confirmed the hospital had a 17-year-old COVID-19 death but released no further details.
Tarrant County Public Health only confirmed the boy had an underlying health condition.
He is the youngest fatality of the pandemic in the county.
Cook Children’s reported on Wednesday it currently has 21 pediatric virus patients, which is near its pandemic high of 22.
