1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 tbsp. vanilla milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 cups flour
Mix butter, sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients but add 1 cup of flour at a time and then mix.
Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Roll out dough and cut shapes using your favorite cookie cutter.
Place shapes on non-stick cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 14 minutes.
2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. milk
Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix well. For smoother icing, use a hand mixer or electric mixer.
