Chef Blythe Beck from Pink Magnolia makes the Oak Cliff Cristo, a delicious sandwich with a kick.
2 pieces of brioche bread
2 slices of smoked ham (thick cut)
2 pieces of maple turkey ( thick cut)
2 pieces of Swiss Cheese ( thick cut)
3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1/4 heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoons of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of bourbon
1 tsp kosher Salt
Your favorite Jam and Jelly
Combine all wet ingredients in mixing bowl. Place brioche bread in wet mixture. Melt butter in sauté pan. Place wet bread in buttered sauté pan. Sear wet bread on 2 minutes on each side. Place ham, turkey, and cheese on bread allow to melt. Place two pieces of bread together. Shake powdered sugar over sandwich. Serve with your favorite jam and jelly. Enjoy!!!!
