Greg Watson from Dugg Burger knows a lot about burgers. But he stops by Good Day to show off another of his favorites -- bread pudding.
Dugg Burger Bread Pudding
1 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cups milk
1 oz pure vanilla extract
2 each eggs
3 oz sugar
2 qt spent bread
Bring heavy cream, milk, and vanilla to simmer in a medium sauce pan. In a separate, large bowl, beat eggs and 6 oz. of sugar. Gradually whisk in cream/milk mixture. Thoroughly mix in bread and let sit for 3 - 5 minutes, until bread has totally absorbed the cream/milk mixture.
Put a heaping #6 disher of the bread mix into each muffin cup. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes, until golden brown.
Bring 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, 1/8 cup whipping cream, and 1/8 cup of honey to a boil in a medium pan. Stir constantly for about 2 minutes.
