Chicken Basil Stir Fry

Nikky Phinyawatana from Asian Mint stops by Good Day to make chicken basil stir fry. The restaurant just announced it will offer all Dallas police officers 30 percent off.


Chicken Basil Stir Fry

24 oz. ground or sliced chicken breast or any cut of boneless chicken)
3 Tbs. of crushed garlic
4-8 fresh thai chili sliced and bruised (personal chilli preference)
4-5 Tbs. of vegetable oil
2 Tbs. of oyster sauce
2 Tbs. of fish sauce ( or thin/white soy sauce for vegetarian)
1 Tbs. of black soy sauce
1 Tbs teaspoon sugar
1 Tbs. Spanish Paprika
1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
2 hand ful of holy basil or thai sweet basil
3-4 cups of cooked thai jasmine rice

Heat the oil and add the garlic and chilli. Cook till fragrant and be careful of burning it. Add the chicken and shrimp and cook till almost fully done.  IF it gets dry, add a splash of water. Add all the sauces and tossed to combine. Add the Paprika. Turn the heat off and add the red bell peppers and basil and fold it in.
