Winter Will Return...
Last mild day, before winter returns!
Today is split between east and west. More sun west, milder mid 60s as well. AM Fog east...may still have more clouds during the day...along with lower 60s.
This evening, showers and a few storms may also develop east. A few strong ones too (hail).
Overnight, showers will pop up area wide as a cold front heads in.
Temps will start in the 40s and stay in the 40s all day Saturday with very gusty NW winds. It will be cold. There will also be some early morning showers which dry up quickly. Areas on the Red River may even see a few wet flakes mix in.
We clear out Saturday night...dropping below freezing and stay chilly with sun Sunday (PM clouds).
Next system is late Sunday night-Monday AM, but it has little moisture. Still, we'll keep a low 20% coverage of mainly light snow for western counties that AM. Impacts will be minimal.
Skies clear up again late Monday...with chilly temps barely above 40, but we do moderate closer to normal by mid-week...when another storm approaches with rain chances.
