Turning "cooler" but not COOL!
Getting "cooler", but far from COLD as we head into Meteorological Winter Friday!
Even with a cold front moving through overnight, it will still be "above average" today with highs in the 60s. Clouds will be tricky as there are some from every direction. Clouds east will break up this AM. Clouds west will be thinner, but clouds NORTH will be fairly thick all day. Let's call it "partly sunny-ish"!
Tonight through Friday will feature readings above 5 degrees above average. Lows in the 40s, highs in the mid 60s. A PACIFIC jet stream will be overhead with some mid and high level clouds from time to time.
South winds return this weekend, so temps will bump up a little into the low 70s. There will be more sun Saturday with a trend towards more cloud cover Sunday. still nice for the first weekend of December!
Next week will definitely find the weather changing. The LAST warm day will be Monday as a cold front heads towards the area. More clouds and humidity with 20% showers. Highs in the 70s. Depending on the timing of the front, we should see some showers at night followed by cooler air rushing in Tuesday...as temps stay in the 50s, and remain cool next week.
There are still fairly large differences in the way this pattern change is being handled, which is once again why looking at anything more than SEVEN days is generally useless this time of the year, although many out there will try to convince you they are "smarter" than the super computers! Good luck with that...LOL.
