Steady rain leaves Texas soggy and soaked
Welcome to Texas, where it makes Seattle seem dry. More rain is in the forecast every day this week!
Today's rain will be steady all day, although the intensity may let up a bit in the evening. The winds are still brisk and the temps are still crazy cold but not as brutal as Monday. Highs will be in the upper 40s.
It will rain tonight and into Wednesday, albeit lighter rain. And the rain will become spottier in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 50s.
The atmosphere reloads Thursday, especially in the evening where it will spread in from the south and west. The temps will slowly moderate into the upper 50s but that's still 20 degrees below average!!
It seems the last of the rainfall will be Friday as our west coast storm finally lifts out. Still, fairly high coverage of lighter showers/rain could linger early Saturday.
Cross your fingers and the weekend could dry out, especially Saturday evening and into Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 60s and we may even touch 70 again!
Don't get too excited, though. The pattern may shift again next week with more showers possible.
