Respite From The Rain

We get a break between boomers!

One system moves out early this morning as any clouds give way to sunshine. The dry line should also get through most areas (except far SE) shifting winds to the west and giving us lower humidity even though highs still well into the 80s.

Moisture returns Thursday, along with partly sunny skies and warm 80s again. That sets the stage for Thursday night. Another disturbance ahead of a new storm will move in with the potential for severe weather (mainly hail, gusty winds) overnight ESPECIALLY from DFW north and east.

That complex should exit Friday morning and then the atmosphere will prime itself for more potentially severe storms Friday evening as a dry line comes in from the west. Coverage Friday evening may be fairly high with all severe weather modes possible (hail, wind and isolated tornadoes) including some heavier rain.

Saturday morning and midday we'll see the last of the showers mainly east of Dallas. Areas west of Fort Worth should stay dry all day with highs close to 80.

Drier air invades in time for Saturday night and Sunday activities. The next weaker storm takes shape for early next week and we'll eventually turn cooler with that rain chance by Tuesday.
