Morning fog west... then a chilly afternoon!

A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for areas west of the Metroplex until 10 a.m. this morning. The fog dissipates, but clouds continue to increase throughout the afternoon. Highs today should be in the mid to upper 40s with light NE winds 8-12 mph.

Your New Year's Eve forecast has temps slowly declining after sunset. We'll be in the low 40s to start the evening and in the upper 30s by the time the ball drops. There is a 10% chance of sprinkles (or light sleet that won't stick) in the Metroplex. Areas south with have 20% chance... not great, but not nonexistent.

Tomorrow, a little cooler with highs in the low 40s and mostly cloudy skies.
