Mild and Quiet Weekend

High pressure is in control, and that means it is a warm and sunny start to the weekend. This high pressure shifts eastward Sunday, as a week disturbance returns some clouds, but very little rain. Expect high temperatures in the low 80s, with morning lows in the 60s.

The weather pattern becomes quite busy next week, with a stronger upper level system impacting North Texas mid-week. Strong to severe storms are possible for parts of the region Tuesday and Wednesday. This system exits, but there is another right on it's heels for the end of the week. Temperatures climb, with daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s through next week.
