Late Summer Showers Later This Week!

All about rising and falling. Humidity and rain chances slowly RISING this week, while temps will be slowly FALLING!

Today is still very warm and noticeably more humid with a SE wind. Partly sunny skies expected as a weak disturbance tracks to our west. There could be a very isolated PM shower, although coverage will be less than 10% area wide.

Wed. and Thu may end up being roughly the same type of day. Very warm. Humid. More clouds, but enough sun to push temps near 90. With a front stalled likely on the Red River or even into Oklahoma, rain chances look fairly low. maybe 20% here.

Those rain chances rise Friday PM and night as the front moves into North Texas and combines with a stronger disturbance aloft. A few could be strong and produce heavier rain.

The weekend is the big question mark. It will depend highly on where the front settles out. Right now it still looks to sink south of the area and then stall. ASSUMING that is the case, showers Saturday AM will diminish in coverage later in the day, but pick up again later Sunday as the front heads back north into Monday. Weekend temps may be a bit lower in the mid 80s.

At this time, I'd just say to follow forecasts as they will likely be fine tuned each day!
