Jumping Into the 90s!

Less than two weeks until summer, but "early summer heat" is on the way!

Dry air is still in place another day or two which will allow us to warm quickly into the low 90s. Cirrus clouds (from a dying storm complex in the Panhandle) will dissipate to a mostly sunny day with light winds and a pollution watch (orange).

Winds slowly turn to the SE next few days which mean increasing humidity into the same heat (low 90s) rest of the week. As we add moisture, we'll also introduce low shower chances for afternoon hours starting Friday (south) with higher coverage Saturday (20%) and Sunday (30%) as a disturbance enhances the lift.

The next main feature will arrive Tuesday...more likely either PM or at night with better storm chances into Wednesday.
