Hot, But Not Too Hot!

Last days of August! Shouldn't be too hard to take...

It will turn a bit less humid today with a few clouds and light winds. Highs only in mid 90s...even lower 90s NE.

There is a small disturbance dropping south from OK which may trigger 1 or 2 showers west of I-35W late AM-PM.

Tonight looks quite pleasant before we slowly heat things up into the weekend. Highs will inch towards the upper 90s by Friday through Sunday. There is a weak front which will make it just to the Red River before falling apart Saturday, so we'll keep a low storm chance there.

Next week, winds turn more off the Gulf..so we'll see a few extra PM clouds, lower temps in mid 90s and low shower chances SE.
