Statue of Pudge Rodriguez unveiled outside new Globe Life Field
ARLINGTON, Texas - A statue of Hall of Fame catcher Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez was unveiled outside the new Globe Life Field Wednesday.
The 7-foot bronze statue is outside the home plate gate in honor of the man who played 13 seasons for the Rangers, and had his number 7 retired by the team.
Pudge had the statue commissioned years ago, and donated it to the new park.
