Anthony Davis to miss 'multiple weeks', ESPN reports

DALLAS - New Dallas Mavericks big man Anthony Davis is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a non-contact injury during his first game with the team, according to reports.

What we know:
After a dominating first half, Davis left the game against the Houston Rockets in the third quarter and did not return.
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Davis is expected to miss multiple weeks with a left adductor strain.
Davis scored 26 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and had 7 assists in 31 minutes against the Rockets.
It was Davis' first game for the Mavericks since he was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers in a blockbuster deal for Luka Dončić.
Davis had missed time with an ab injury.
The injury will likely keep Davis from participating in the All-Star Game.
What we don't know:
At this point, we don't know when exactly Davis will return.
Charania says the absence could be as long as a month.
