North Texas HS Football State Final Highlights

There are several North Texas teams in the state football championships, and two won their titles Friday night.

ARLINGTON, Texas - Aledo High School extended its state record by winning a 12th UIL football state championship.

The Bearcats beat Smithson Valley 51-8 in the 5A Division I title game Friday.

Aledo went down 8-0 to start the game, but then got things rolling and scored 51 unanswered points.
