Whataburger introduces spicy strawberry biscuits

Whataburger unveiled two fruity new sandwiches on Wednesday.

The fast food joint announced that they will be selling Spicy Strawberry Chicken and Spicy Strawberry Sausage Biscuits for a limited time.

The new biscuits feature chicken or sausage patties on a biscuit, topped with the restaurant's new Spicy Strawberry Jam. Whataburger describes the new jam as a "One-of-a-kind Spicy Strawberry Jam that combines diced and pureed strawberries with a light hint of jalapeño for a unique and bold flavor."

"With the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit being a fan favorite and overwhelming positive reception in taste tests on the new jam, these new Spicy Strawberry Biscuits will be a big hit with customers," Whataburger vice president of marketing and innovation Rich Scheffler said in a press release.

The new sandwiches will be available from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. for a limited time only. Prices will vary by market.
