Veterans Day 2017: A list of free meals and discounts
Saturday, November 11 is Veterans Day. To honor our veterans and active military, many businesses are saying thank you by offering discounts and free meals.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Most businesses require a valid military ID or proof of service.
Here is a list of some restaurant deals and freebies:
Applebee's: Pick one of seven FREE signature items with proof of valid military ID.
Bar Louie: Visit your nearest location to claim a FREE flatbread or burger.
Bob Evans: FREE meal from a special menu available all day Saturday at all locations.
Buffalo Wild Wings Free Wings: Dine-in to claim one FREE small order of traditional or boneless wings with a side of fries.
California Pizza Kitchen: Select a FREE entree from a special Veterans Day menu including pizza, salads and pasta. Proof of service required. Here is your nearest location.
Chevys Fresh Mex: From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Chevys Fresh Mex will offer a complimentary Fresh Mex 3-Item combo to all active and veteran military personnel.
Chili's: Select a FREE meal from their special meni.
Cicis Pizza: Show a valid military ID and enjoy a FREE pizza buffet.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: All veterans receive a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert.
Dunkin' Donuts: Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a FREE donut, no purchase necessary.
Famous Dave’s: Receive a FREE two meat Combo.
Fogo de Chão: Veterans and active duty personnel will receive 50% off their meal on November 11, and up to three additional guests will receive 10% off their meals
Friendly’s: Friendly’s is treating veterans and active military to a free breakfast, lunch or dinner from a limited menu.
Glory Days Grill: With a valid military ID, enjoy FREE appetizer or a regular order of boneless or grilled boneless wings.
The Green Turtle: Enjoy any item up to $12 for FREE or take $12 off a dish greater than $12.
Hooters: FREE meal from a select Veterans Day menu with proof of valid military ID card.
Houlihan’s: Enjoy a FREE entree from a select menu on Veteran’s Day with proof of veteran status or active service in the military.
IKEA: Show a military ID and enjoy a free entree at IKEA.
Little Caesars Pizza: From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., veterans and active military members can receive a free $5 HOT-N-READY® Lunch Combo.
Macaroni Grill: Enjoy a FREE Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs & Spaghetti entree.
On The Border: Receive a FREE combo meal from the "Create Your Own Combo menu,” which is a “choose 2” or “choose 3” menu.
Outback Steakhouse: Enjoy a FREE Bloomin' Onion and non-alcoholic beverage with a valid military ID. Additionally, November 12 through November 16, military members will receive 20% off their check and, beginning November 17, Military, Fire and Police heroes will receive 10% off their check.
Red Hot & Blue Restaurants: Get a FREE entree (up to $10) with the purchase of a second entree of equal or greater value. For dine-in only.
