Two killed by suspected drunk driver

Two men are dead after their car was rear-ended by a suspected drunk driver early Sunday morning.

Police say 23-year-old Nicklous Mendoza was speeding in a Mustang when he rear-ended a Honda Civic on Walnut Hill Lane near Marsh Road in Dallas.

Both cars spun out of control.

Police say the a 45-year-old passenger in the Honda was ejected and the 35-year-old driver became pinned inside the vehicle.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities have not been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Mendoza is charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.

His bond is set at $100,000.
