Three injured after shooting in Irving

Irving police are investigating a shooting that ended with three people going to the hospital.

It happened just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday outside of a convenience store on Walnut Hill Lane.

Police said an altercation led to someone in one vehicle, shooting into another vehicle.

The shots hit three people sitting in the backseat, and police said they were taken to the hospital.
