A Frisco teen accused of killing his parents will stand trial as an adult.

At a court hearing Thursday, the judge called 17-year-old Zachary Callens a potential danger to society, who shows no remorse for the murders.

Callens faces two counts of murder.

Police said he confessed to shooting his parents in August of last year at the family's home.

The teen's friends said he complained his parents were too strict.

Callens was 16 years old at the time of the shootings.
