Storms bring heavy rain, hail to North Texas

Severe weather has now moved out of North Texas for the day, but it brought hail, high waters, and lightning Saturday morning.

The heavy rain brought concerns for flooding chances across the Metroplex, but no major damage was reported.

A number of events were canceled Saturday because of the storms, including the March for Babies in Forth Worth, the Fort Worth Main Street Arts Festival, the Texas Big Star half marathon and 5k in Frisco, the Medal of Honor Parade in Gainesville, the Easter egg drop in Dallas, and the Walk MS Dallas in Addison.

Viewers in Irving and Grand Prairie reported pea sized hail from Saturday's storms.
