Speed limits going up on North Texas highways

Drivers in Texas will soon see higher speed limits on certain highways. Some stretches will go up five to ten miles per hour.

In North Texas, the limit will go up from 60 to 70 mph on Highway 75 between McKinney and the High Five in Dallas.

On Interstate 30 between the LBJ Freeway and Rockwall, the limit will go from 60 to 65 mph.

In Tarrant County the speed limit on Interstate 20 will be increased to 70 mph.

New signs should go up in a few weeks.
