Snow heaviest Thursday in western parts of North Texas

More winter...more snow for some!

Arctic cold front flies through this AM with gusty winds and temps holding in 30s all day. There is a patch of rain/snow west that will head in (and weaken at same time) as it becomes all light snow. Some flurries may fall in the Metroplex...but there could be a brief dusting up to close to 1" in our western co's before it dries up this afternoon.

It will be a very cold night in the 20s with a stiff breeze.

Then the next system heads in. Light snow breaks out from roughly the Metroplex west and north tomorrow AM which could easily produce an inch Metro...with 1-3" N & W counties. Highs may not even hit 30.

One last yuck day Saturday...with some freezing drizzle possible AM before we warm enough into the 30s to be all liquid. Temps then continue rising toward 50 Sun and Mon with 60s by Tuesday. Cloudy skies and rain chances will continue into next week as well!
