SMU frat suspended over hazing allegations

Southern Methodist University in Dallas suspended one of its fraternities over allegations of hazing.

The Kappa Alpha Order chapter will be gone from campus for at least four years.

The school didn’t give details about why but the SMU student newspaper said it obtained a letter sent to the parents of the fraternity members.

Reported violations included “booze-hazing,” paddling and forcing pledges to eat and drink until they vomit.
