The search for a missing kayaker in Fort Worth resumed Monday morning.

Searchers suspended their efforts Sunday because of nightfall.

Edgar Castro and a friend were in an inflatable kayak that flipped over on the Trinity River Saturday morning.

Castro's friend made it out okay, but witnesses said he struggled in the fast-moving water. He was last seen about 75 yards downstream.

He was not wearing a life jacket.

Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens and the Fort Worth Fire Department are leading the search. It has been expanded to include two more cities.

Castro's family members and some volunteers are also helping.
