What we know:
CoServ has determined that their best estimate to restore power is after the end of the school day.
All students and staff were safe and warm in the building.
Water was available, and the temperature was holding. A sack lunch was provided for students remaining in the building.
Parents were asked to pick up their student if possible. Extra district personnel and police officers were on campus to assist with traffic and dismissal.

According to district officials, the outage was caused by non-CoServ construction contractors who damaged a primary wire that needed to be fully replaced in order to restore power.
Crews were optimistic that all repairs will be complete by 6 p.m. Wednesday evening.
