Pregnant woman shot in Pleasant Grove home

DALLAS - A pregnant woman was shot in the neck after a man opened fire on her Dallas home.

Police said a man in her home heard a noise late Thursday night and went outside to investigate. He saw another man with a gun and ran back inside.

That’s when shots were fired. Police said the gunman fired more than 20 rounds at the home on Waterbury Drive in Pleasant Grove.

Nine people were in the house at the time, including some children. The woman was the only one hit.

She is now in serious condition at Parkland Hospital.

The gunman is still at large.
